Mechanical engineering is one of the broadest engineering disciplines. Mechanical engineers design, develop, build, and test. They deal with anything that moves, from components to machines to the human body. Mechanical engineers make a difference. That's because mechanical engineering careers center on creating technologies to meet human needs. Virtually every product or service in modern life has probably been touched in some way by a mechanical engineer to help humankind.
The sole strength of the Mechanical department of IEM is its dynamic and dedicated faculty members selected through a rigorous selection procedure. The faculty members have shown their dedication in introducing innovative pedagogy and newer curriculum to meet the changing needs of the present day society. The department helps students to combine creativity, knowledge and analytical tools to complete the difficult task of shaping an idea into reality.
